We just got to know that Vivo will be putting the V1 image chip into use for the first time ever in its X70 series. As revealed by Hu Baishan (executive vice-president of Vivo), this smartphone series, to be released this September, is going to have exceptional night video shooting capacity and improvement of image quality on a large scale.
According to viral leaks, a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a Full HD+ resolution and a hole punch front camera are expected. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, it will run an Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11.
Design renders say that while the Vivo X70 will come with a flat display, the Pro and Pro+ versions will feature a curved screen. The bottom of all the three smartphones has a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille, whereas the power and volume buttons will be placed on the right. They will be offering in-display fingerprint sensors as well. As observed in the leaked images, the X70 was seen with three back cameras and the Pro and Pro+ versions with four.
