The next Pixel 6 patch in surprisingly on the way, and it could be available on Monday! This was pretty unexpected with the February security patch rolling out, and assumptions that the Pixel 6 would receive its update on the same day as the other Google phones.
As reported by Canadian carrier Fido, this Monday will be the day Pixel 6 and 6 Pro get their March SMR and others. Also, keeping in mind the fact that March 21, aka the day after Android 12.1 was made accessible to Pixel devices, is also the date Google Support representatives chose to intimate.
Summing up the March update, a bunch of new features will be rolling out to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the update being a Pixel Feature Drop. Features include new additions for At a Glance, Live Captions on calls and a new battery widget, among many more!
Google informed of a Global/Unlocked build for the Pixel 6/Pro’s March update being an SP2A.220305.013.A3. Though not much can be known of the carrier-specific versions, it looks like Google has gone on the path for a unified approach.
Also, Google is reportedly running tests of the next feature drop already with QPR3, plus Android 12L will be here to resolve some minor Pixel 6 issues.
