Samsung unveils Exynos 2200 with AMD Ray Tracing Technology!

Samsung Electronics has just put out news of its all new processor. Named the Exynos 2200, it appears to be a powerful AMD RDNA 2 based Samsung Xclipse GPU.


As claimed by Samsung, the company assures users of a next level gaming experience with this Exynos 2200. In addition to that, this processor comes with a much improved experience in social media and photography.



By using Armv9 cores, consisting of one high-powered Cortex-X2 “flagship core,” three Cortex-A710 cores for balanced performance, and four more efficient Cortex-A510 cores, they make up for the CPU side. An upgraded NPU to offer twice the performance of the previous version and an ISP architecture to make it compatible for camera sensor possibly upto 200mp, this processor can potentially utilize both 4G LTE and 5G NR signals, boosting speed upto an incredible 10 GBPs.



In order to support the high resolution cameras, the image signal processor has been redesigned for 108 MP in single camera at 30 fps and 64+36 MP in dual camera. It can also connect up to seven individual image sensors and drive four concurrently for advanced multi-camera setups.



Also, the Exynos 2200 came make videos come to life with its 8K resolution and advanced multi-format codec (MFC), decoding videos up to 4K at 240fps or 8K at 60fps and encoding up to 4K at 120fps or 8K at 30fps.
