Seems like Microsoft decided on shifting a couple of settings from the Control Panel to the Settings app in the new Windows 11. Microsoft has been doing this since the Windows 8 age.
As the company claims, “We have moved the advanced sharing settings (such as Network discovery, File and printer sharing, and public folder sharing) to a new page in Settings app under Advanced Network Settings”. Adding, they said they had “made some updates to the device specific pages under Printers and Scanners in Settings to show more information about your printer or scanner directly in Settings when available”.
These modifications, being a part of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22509 released to the Developer channel, may or may not be available to your PC thus.
