We learned in June of this year that Honor had begun development on its first foldable phone. We knew at the time that the future gadget will make use of BOE and Visionox in-folding panels. Since then, the first time we're again hearing about this after a long time is Honor themselves teasing it now.
Officially being named the Honor Magic V, rumors point to an 8.03-inch foldable inner display combined with a 6.45-inch exterior screen, thus bearing resemblance to Samsung's Z Fold and Z Flip devices.
Honor has also joined a growing number of firms that have either produced or intend to sell foldables. Samsung and Huawei were early entrants, but foldables from Xiaomi, Motorola, and Oppo, which formally introduced its Find N phone earlier this month, have lately appeared. Not only that, we have also heard about Google launching two foldables of its own shortly.
