Honor, kickstarted it’s new phase as an independent company with the launch of its brand new Magic3 as its first flagship.
Both Magic3 and Magic3 Pro have a curved 6.76-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panels support 10-bit color output and come with a pill-shaped cutout for their 13MP main cam alongside a 3D ToF depth sensor for a more smooth and secure face unlock. The rear camera is a 50MP Sony IMX 766 main module on both devices alongside a 64MP monochrome sensor and 13MP ultrawide lens. The Pro model also gets a 64MP telephoto module with 3.5x optical zoom with up to 100x digital zoom.
The base Honor Magic 3 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chip, while the other two models on Snapdragon 888 Plus chip. The base model comes with a storage of 8GB RAM and 128/256GB, Magic 3 Pro with 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage, and the Pro Plus with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. All the three contain a 4,600mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support, and the Pro versions a 50W wireless fast charging support
The company promises other features for privacy like hiding message notifications when a video is cast to a TV, cropping off the metadata from images before sharing to social media. 5. The smartphones can be pre-ordered now and sale starts August 20.
