Halo Infinite just announced something big. However, the option of playing the campaign mode cooperatively with your friends or edit multiplayer levels in Forge mode is not available to players yet.
“When we looked at these two experiences — campaign co-op and Forge — we made the determination [that] they’re just not ready,” Joseph Staten, head of creative on Halo Infinite said in a video. “So we’re going to keep campaign co-op and Forge in the oven for a little bit longer. When they’re ready, we’re going to release them as part of our seasonal roadmap next year. (via The Verge)
Developer 343 Industries is yet to put out modes next year. A campaign co-op in season two (around three months after the game debuts) and Forge in season three (approximately six months after launch) are being expected. Nevertheless, there is a chance of other changes in these.
"Our number one priority is making sure that whatever we ship, whenever we ship it, it meets the right quality bar across all platforms," Staten said. "When we looked at these two experiences, campaign co-op and Forge, we made the determination they're just not ready."
However, it’s kind of unfair that fans who had waited for an hear already, have to wait for another three months for the release of this game.
