Fan remakes Resident Evil 4 in Unreal Engine 5

The technology used to design video games has advanced on a large scale. With one of the most powerful game developing tools being seen in the recent Unreal Engine 5, this is being done in order to make many AAA titles along with the new Witcher game. However, this is also like a trial run to see how old releases would do in this modern age, which is currently what is being done with Resident Evil 4.

Still being hyped to this day even after about seventeen years after release, it’s no surprise that the remake has been put out too. Nevertheless, on account of the game lacking in its visuals, renowned YouTube channel TeaserPlay which makes video-game remakes, had uploaded a video regarding this. Showing how Resident Evil 4 would look like it was remade using Unreal Engine 5, it was just mind-blowing.

However, this fan remake has its own cons on the environments looking sort of dull and the main character looking worse than Leon’s RE4R model.

But, judging a fan remake which was probably developed by either a single person or a small group of people by putting it against an awaited triple-A game from a large company is unfair.

Nonetheless, this unique fan remake is totally a must-watch. Other TeaserPlay remakes include those of Grand Theft Auto Vice City, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Assasin’s Creed Infinity and Silent Hill.
