Fall Guys is going free-to-play

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is now going free-to-play this June onwards! The bean-based battle royale game will also make its debut on Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch and also on the Epic Games Store. Also, cross-play and cross-progression can now be accessed on all the versions of the game like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. This game, which was launched back in 2020 by developer Mediatonic, was actually scheduled to come onto Xbox and Switch for the summer of 2021, however, the delay enabled addition of the cross-play features.

Also, a new season of Fall Guys called Free For All is going to be out, with it’s all new events, locations and challenges, a new currency named “Show-Bucks” and other updates, as reported by the developers. Players could either go for a free progression track, or buy a season pass spending these Show Bucks. Coming to players who have already paid for the game, they can now avail cosmetics in a Legacy Pack bundle and the new season pass, all for free.

This free-to-play version is yet to be released, the exact date being intimated as June 21.
