Asus ROG collaborates with DJ Alan Walker

It’s time for everyone, especially DJ Alan Walker’s fans (the Walkers) to gear up for the all new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Edition! And if you’re a music enthusiast and wanted to take a shot at making music, Asus has just put out the best news.

In a collaboration with the mega-popular DJ and music producer, Asus has designed a special edition of its sensational 14-inch gaming laptop, collaborating with the international star.

The insides of this laptop are nothing ROG fans haven’t seen before. Priced at $1,999.99, this laptop runs on an AMD Ryzen 5900HS processor and a low-end GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. It comes with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a QHD 120Hz screen. Apparently, a non-Walker G14 with a more powerful RTX 3060 GPU, as well as 32GB of RAM can be purchased at the same cost. Practically, you would only want to buy the Alan Walker version if you’re a superfan.

The Alan Walker edition has a noteworthy design in all aspects, including new colour accents across the laptop and the artist’s signature right next to the ROG logo.

Two fabric belts stretching across the lid contribute to ROG’s visionary styling. An Alan Walker boot animation as well as a new wallpaper are available too.

The prime feature is the acrylic turntable developed by ROG with the purpose of not only housing the laptop, but also having the ability of being plugged into the laptop, depicting an independent mini DJ turntable, constituting three samples, with six distinct sounds for the sample involved.

Conductive pads on the surface of the box are aimed to generate 18 sound effects created by Walker himself. This ROG Remix also sets into motion some phenomenal ROG and exclusive Alan Walker animations on the main screen of the laptop, which is the center of attraction of this model.

Alan Walker inspired features include a glass touchpad with a unique pattern representing a music equalizer. Keycaps on the laptop feature Alan Walker's signature colors and posh A’ and ‘W’ keys as a tribute to the DJ.
